For two years, the Arts Recognition and Talent Search (ARTS) is conducted by the Educational Testing Service (ETS in Princeton, NJ) for the U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts.

    In , the ARTS competition is formally transferred from ETS to the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts (NFAA), a non-profit organization founded by Ted and Lin Arison.
