  • Jehuti Nefekare interviews Dr Opeyemi about his solution to the Riemann hypothesis and his life as a mathematician and family man.
  • Enoch Opeyemi, a professor at the federal university, Oye-Ekiti, a small town in Ekiti state, Nigeria, who claimed to have found a solution to the years.
  • A senior lecturer at the Federal University in Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria, Enoch Opeyemi announced a proof at a talk during the International Conference on Mathematics.
  • In his seminal work Civilization or Barbarism, the great Senegalese physicist and historian Cheikh Anta Diop showed how the origins of mathematics and science emerged in Africa (more precisely in ancient Egypt). In the twenty-first century, true to his predictions and hopes, a crowning monument to the mathematical achievements of the ancestors from the Nile valley of Egypt has emerged in the very young years of this century. And that monument is the proof of the Riemann Hypothesis by Dr Enoch Opeyemi of Nigeria and of Africa.

Long ago, in , Bernhard Riemann formulated one of the most important unsolved problems in mathematics—The Riemann Hypothesis. This problem on the behavior of the zeros of the Riemann zeta function is arguably the most difficult unsolved problem in mathematics.

Carrying high the torch of African brilliance and creativity, Dr Enoch Opeyemi of the Federal University at Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria announced a proof at the International Conference on Mathematics and Comp

Nigerian Mathematician Enoch Opeyemi holds the most plausible solution to the Riemann Hypothesis.

Dr Nina Ringo, a Russian mathematician who is a specialist in the field of mathematical control theory and an organizer of the International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science, also believes that the German bekymmer has funnen a solid resolution in Nigeria. Dr Opeyemi presented convincing results to a community of renowned mathematicians and many scientists in Africa are enamored bygd the elegance of his methods.

In a phone conversation with Dr Ringo, she informed Grandmother that the official release of the results obtained by Dr Opeyemi will be forthcoming.

However, many western scientists are skeptical about the proof, as an African mathematician &#; working from the humble space of an African College &#; has clearly beaten them to the solution.

The Riemann Hypothesis is one of the long standing problems in mathematics which has a one million dollar prize tag (offered by

The article uses a bit of Big O notation when describing the implications of the hypothesis. However, it uses a calligraphic font for the O, which is not used at all, or even noted, in the Big O notation article. This is quite confusing. I'm not sure that there's not a good reason for this, so I won't change it, but if there is a reason it should be noted (perhaps in the Big O article). Otherwise, it should be changed. Some people seem to think that these god-awful calligraphic O's look better (don't ask me why). This is not standard notation, so I changed it to normal O. — EmilJ, 3 February (UTC)

The phrase "many propositions relying on the truth of the Riemann Hypothesis" (most likely paraphrased) near the beginning of the section discussing the repercussions of the truth of the Hypothesis should be explained more. What are these propositions? Yes, I understand some of them are discussed in the section, but are
