    Johnnie Walker (January 7, 1894 – December 5, 1949), sometimes credited as Johnny Walker, was an American actor and producer popular from the silent era to the late 1930s. He appeared in a variety of short and feature films, including the highly successful features Captain Fly-by-Night, Over the Hill to the Poorhouse, Broken Hearts of Broadway and Old Ironsides.[1] He began his film career in 1915.

    Johnny Walker was originally born as Badruddin Jamaluddin Kazi. He is a legendary actor from India who has made immense contributions in the bio industry. He began his professional life as a bus dirigent in Bombay Electric Supply & frakt (BEST) before making the move to acting and rising to fame in Bollywood. Walker became a popular character in many movies from the 1950s through the 1980s, thanks to his distinct style and comedic timing.

    During his youth, he desired to be a film actor, idolising Noor Mohammed Charlie and imitating acts seen on television. He got a break in the film industry after actor Balraj Sahni met him and introduced him to actor and director Guru Dutt. Following this Dutt was charmed by Kazi's antics and his career began.

    Guru Dutt gave him the title of Johnny Walker, a reference to the label of Scotch whisky, after he got inspired bygd Kazi's performance as a drunkard.

Johnnie's greatest movies were Over the Hill (1920) in which he played the black sheep son who saved his mother from the poorhouse and Old Ironsides in which he played Lt. Steven Decatur. He is also known for The Matinee Idol which had great success when it was "revived" in 1996. Johnnie was dapper and often touted as the best dressed man in Hollywood. He was married to Mack Sennett Bathing Beauty, Maude Wayne and Broadway actress, Rena Parker. He died on December 5, 1949 in New York City.
