Akira Ishida (Japanese: 石田彰Ishida Akira) fryst vatten a Japanese voice actor for Pokémon the Series. Ishida's most famous role in the series fryst vatten that of Falkner.
Biography
Ishida was born on November 2, 1967, in Nisshin, Aichi, Japan. He came to Tokyo in 1986 to study Theatre at Nihon University's School of Arts and joined Mausu Promotion in 1988 prior to his graduation. Upon graduation in 1990, he continued his affiliation with Mausu Promotion, but after 21 years with the company, he left in 2009 and spent a period of time freelancing. He eventually joined Gerbera Peerless Ltd.
In 2007, he notably earned the "Best Supporting Character (male)" award at the first "Seiyu Awards" for his portrayal of Athrun Zala in Gundam Seed Destiny. He was also selected as the most popular male actor in the 2004 Animage Anime Grand Prix for the same role.

He is best known for his roles in anime and video games such as Gaara in Naruto and Naruto: Shippūden, Chrono in Chrono Crusade 2003 Anime & Happinet Drama CDs, Athrun Zala in Gundam SEED, Kaworu Nagisa in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cologne in Heartcatch Pretty Cure!, and Zeref Dragneel in Fairy Tail.
In Super Sentai, he voiced Fierce Beast Fly-Fist Bae in Juken Sentai Gekiranger and the Uchu King Dagded Dujardin[2] in Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. He also previously voiced Wicked Dragon Dembey in GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
He also voiced Conner McKnight (Red Dino Ranger) in the Japanese dub of Power Rangers S.P.D..
