Former PM Dacian Ciolos to Start a New Political Party
Dacian Ciolos, the former European Commissioner for Agriculture in Barroso’s Executive and PM of Romania between 2015 and 2017 was expected to make a comeback in politics even earlier, after more than one year since last general elections. With a lot of supporters, mainly young Romanians and people from diaspora, the new party will be a right-orientated one, very close to PNL (liberals) and USR profile and could be a pillar for a greater alliance or a partner for 2020 local and parliamentary elections.

Dacian Cioloș: The European Union must once again demonstrate its added value to the citizens of Europe
The President of the Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament, Dacian Cioloș, today delivered a lecture to students at the College of Europe in Bruges on the challenges facing the European Union and Renew Europe's plans to address them.
Renew Europe has worked quickly to identify its priorities for this mandate of the European Parliament, since the European elections last May. Renew Europe is the third largest in the European Parliament, a central force between the Socialist and EPP blocs, who no longer have an outright majority in the European Parliament.
Speaking at the College of Bruges, President of the Renew Europe Group, Dacian Cioloș, said:
